Happy Farm Strawberry Picking Happy Nouen Strawberry Gari
Event date: Scheduled from January 2, 2024 (Monday) to mid-May 2024
Happy Farm is the first tourist farm to open in Mie Prefecture. The scale is one of the largest in Japan. We use underground water from the Izumi no Mori water system of Mt. Horisaka, which is rich in minerals and is ideal for growing strawberries in MatsusakaCity.
The strawberries are ``Akihime,'' which are large and have little sourness.
The greenhouse is an elevated two-tier rock wool cultivation system that does not use soil, so everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy picking strawberries while standing without getting their shoes dirty.
The aisles are also designed to be wide, so you can enjoy strawberry picking easily even in a wheelchair.
*This season's strawberry picking will be carried out with infection control measures such as temperature measurement using a non-contact thermometer at the reception, installation of alcohol disinfectant, and the use of more greenhouses than usual to avoid crowding inside the greenhouse.
