This is a rock fishing tournament with a maximum prize of 100,000 yen, held in Kumano, a treasure trove of fish.
The long run division is usually competed in big runs between late October and mid-December.
There are 3 competition categories: Gray, Ishidai/Ishigaki, and other fish, and top prize winners will receive cash prizes. 100,000 yen for 1st place in the Gray and Ishidai divisions

The award ceremony for the long run category and the last chance category, which competes based on the catch of just one day, will be held on the last day (December).
