The 11th Arts and Culture Association Chairman's Cup Competition Go Shogi Tournament
Date: Saturday, May 20, 2020
The 11th Go and Shogi Tournament for the Chairman's Cup of the Arts and Culture Association will be held, sponsored by InabeCity Arts and Culture Association/Go and Shogi Executive Committee!
Reception: 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (*Please be punctual)
Game: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
[Note] Please wear a mask during the game.
◇Participation fee
General: 2,000 yen Junior high school students and under: 500 yen (lunch box included)
*Participation fee will be collected at the reception on the day.
◇Application for participation
Please fill in the necessary information on the attached application form and submit it.
Application deadline: Wednesday, May 10, 2020 (FAX accepted)
*Reception will close as soon as the capacity is reached.

A grade (5th dan or higher)
B class (4th to 3rd dan)
C class (2nd dan)
D class (1st dan ~ Kyu rank)
<Shogi section>
A class (1st dan and above)
B grade (3rd grade or higher)
C class (grade 4 or below)
Encouragement grade (beginners under elementary school age)
*Category may change depending on the number of participants
◇Match format
In both Go and Shogi, players compete for ranking using the Swiss method.
◇Award
・Class A winner...Certificate, Chairman's Cup, Victory Shield, Prizes
・B, C, and D (encouragement) class winners...Certificate, winner's shield, and prizes
・Winners (2nd and 3rd place)...Certificates and prizes
*For general participants, there will be a lottery after the tournament ends. Participation prizes will be handed out to junior high school students and younger at the time of registration.
