36th Annual Tokaido Sekijuku Street Festival Daikokaitoukaidou Sekijukkaidoumatsuri

Go to Tokaido Sekijuku to see what it was like in the past.
This festival started in Sekijuku, which has flourished as an inn town since the Edo period (1603-1868) and was selected as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in 1984 (Showa 59). The festival features a period procession and other events at the former Tokaido Sekijuku, where many townhouses from the Edo and Meiji periods still remain! You can enjoy the feeling of going back in time to the Edo period.
