MotooriNorinaga Graveside Festival Motoori Norinagabo Zensai
Date: October 22, 2023 (Sunday) 13:00- (Rain or shine)
*On the anniversary of MotooriNorinaga 's death, related people will gather in front of his grave (inner grave) and perform a ritual.
A solemn graveside ceremony is held in front of the grave, which was built according to the deceased's will.
A wild cherry tree is planted behind it as a symbol of Norinaga's spirit.
Starting this year, events such as performances by Yamamuroyama Kindergarten children will be held once again on the grounds of Myorakuji Temple. (schedule)
