A model course that covers Ise, Toba, and Shima, where the IseShimaSummit will be held. I will mainly introduce the spots I visited through the spouse program.
This course is also recommended for those who have seen it on TV but don't know where it is, or those who want to understand the basics of Ise-Shima first. You can enjoy the beautiful nature unique to Ise-Shima and the delicious food unique to the country.
IseJingu Naiku (Kotaijingu)
About 2,000 years ago, during the reign of Emperor Suinin, Kotaijingu has been located on the banks of the Isuzu River. It enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, the ancestor of the imperial family and revered like Amaterasu-Omikami by our people.
Once you cross UjibashiBridge, which is the entrance to Naiku, and proceed down the long approach paved with gravel, you will find yourself in a sacred precinct. The original scenery of Japan, known as the "hometown of the heart," spreads out here.
MikimotoPearlIsland
MikimotoPearlIsland, a lush green island in Toba Bay, is the island where KokichiMikimoto succeeded in cultivating pearls for the first time in the world in 1893. The island was opened in 1951, and since then we have welcomed many visitors from Japan and abroad. The approximately 7,000 tsubo island is dotted with the Pearl Museum, where you can learn everything about pearls, KokichiMikimoto Memorial Museum, which introduces the life of KokichiMikimoto, known as the King of Pearls, and the Pearl Plaza (shops and restaurants). You can watch diving demonstrations performed by Ama divers wearing traditional white isogi.

Ise Shima
A course where you can visit IseJingu (Geku and Naiku), the spiritual hometown of Japanese people who want to visit at least once in their lives, and enjoy Futami, where Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) is located.
It is a fun and fulfilling plan where you can take a leisurely stroll along the approach to Geku from Geku to IseCity Station and Oharai-cho in Torii-Oharai-Machi of Naiku, enjoy food while walking, and shop for Ise souvenirs.
